Program structure:

  • 5 day course
    •    Adoption of competence in architectural and structural survey, design and structural analysis of historic buildings
    •    Visiting (5th day) of Diocletian’s Palace (an ancient palace built by the Roman emperor Diocletian at 305 AD.)
    •    Program plan:
    o    1st day: Architectural and structural survey
    o    2nd day: Original and contemporary building materials
    o    3rd day: Supporting structures of historic buildings. Details. Structural Analysis – simple and complex methods of analysis
    o    4th day: Presentation of reconstruction works of some historic buildings
    o    5th day: Visiting of Diocletian’s Palace
    •    Basic knowledge and competence from architecture and structures are necessary.
