Attendees will be introduced to architectural theory and temporary design proposals that are crucial worldwide references of pavilions of culture (Venice Biennale, Serpentine Pavilion in London, Expo Milano). During the workshop, participants will have a series of lectures by associates on a given topic (architecture, art, art installations in public spaces, materiality, exhibition design, museums), discussions, visits to given locations, as well as the final project presentation with guest critics, and an exhibition.Each participant will choose one location, for which he/she will independently design a temporary sustainable pavilion in accordance with the given guidelines, and thus contribute to the overall opus of the summer workshop – the new light – cultural tour of the city of Split.
